  • Body comprises mainly of 3 types of elements.
    1. Thridoshas (3 life forces) : Vatha, Pittha and Kapha.
    2. Saptadhaathus (7 types of tissues): Rasa, Raktha, Maamsa, Meda, Asthi, Majja and Shukra
    3. Thrimalas (3 types of excreta): Mutra, Purisha and Sweda.
    4. We can consider a person as healthy only when there is a balance of all the 3 doshas, 7 dhathus, 3 malas and Agnis (digestion and metabolism) along with soundness of sense organs, mind and soul.

  • Five basic elements of the nature namely, Pruthvi, Jala, Teja, Vayu & Akasha are the frameworks of our body. So, for any disease we can find the remedy from the nature itself.
  • Deha Prakruti : Body constitution of every individual is different and is determined by the balance of these 3 doshas. Identification of the Prakriti of an individual is important to understand his health status and treatment planning.
